Tell us your waste film type, contamination level and daily volume. Our engineers will give you a specific configuration recommendation — no technical knowledge required on your end.
You don't need to know the technical details. Just tell us what you have. We'll match it to the right configuration.
An estimate is fine. We'll confirm the details later.
We don't publish fixed prices — configuration determines cost. But we can tell you what drives the number, and give you a realistic range to plan with.
All figures are equipment-only FOB reference prices based on 2025–2026 market data. Installation, commissioning, electrical work and water infrastructure typically add 10–20% to the project total. Final pricing is confirmed after configuration assessment. Get a specific quote →
We will tell you directly if your project doesn't make economic sense. These are the most common reasons recycling projects fail before they start.
A recycling line sized for 200 kg/h needs consistent feedstock year-round. If your waste film is only available during harvest season (3–4 months), the equipment sits idle for 8+ months. Confirm whether industrial PE film or stretch film can fill the off-season before committing to equipment.
rLDPE and rPP pellet prices vary significantly by region and fluctuate with virgin resin prices. Before sizing equipment, confirm the current pellet purchase price in your local market and compare it against your estimated electricity, labour and water costs per kilogram processed. If the margin is negative, no equipment configuration can fix that.
PVC, PET, and aluminium foil composite layers mixed into a PE or PP stream will damage screws, block screen changers and degrade pellet quality. If your waste contains significant non-PE/PP content that cannot be manually sorted before feeding, the line economics and output quality will both be compromised.
Wet washing is the standard method for removing soil and organic contamination from agricultural film. Dry-process systems exist but have clear limits on contamination level they can handle. If your site has no water access and your waste film has more than 20% soil contamination, output pellet quality will be significantly lower than market-grade.

| Waste Stream | Contamination | Capacity Range | Washing System | Extrusion | Pellet Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PE Film Industrial offcuts, stretch film | Low ≤15% | 100–300 kg/h | Single-stage friction wash | Single or dual-stage | Garbage bags, industrial film, pipe |
| PP Woven Jumbo bags, feed sacks | Medium 10–30% | 100–400 kg/h | Friction wash + float-sink separation | Dual-stage | Woven bags, injection moulding |
| Greenhouse Film Tunnel film, low-contamination | Medium ≤40% | 100–300 kg/h | Multi-stage wet wash | Dual-stage | Garbage bags, construction film |
| Mulch Film Field-collected, heavy soil | High 30–80% | 150–500 kg/h | Dry trommel + multi-stage wet wash + optional hot-wash | Dual-stage + vacuum degassing | Garbage bags, waterproofing, pipe |
| Mixed Stream PE + PP combined | Variable | Subject to assessment | Subject to assessment | Subject to assessment | Mixed recyclate — market-dependent |
All figures are reference ranges under standard operating conditions. Final configuration is confirmed after incoming material assessment.

No automated responses. No sales calls before you ask for one. Here is exactly what happens next.
We review your waste stream details and cross-check against our configuration database. No sales team involvement at this stage.
We may ask for a photo of your waste bale or a short video. For heavily contaminated agricultural film, a sample may be requested before finalising the washing system specification.
You receive a specific line configuration with capacity, key components, estimated footprint and a budget range. This is a technical recommendation, not a sales proposal.
If the recommendation fits your project, we prepare a formal quotation with equipment list, delivery schedule and payment terms. No obligation at any earlier stage.
LayerQuestar Machinery has been building recycling and blown film lines since 2008. Every line we ship has been run at full load for 72 continuous hours before it leaves our factory.
Answers to the questions buyers ask most before submitting a request.
LayerQuestar's engineering team reviews submitted waste film details and responds within 48 hours with a specific line configuration recommendation. Complex projects involving agricultural film or mixed waste streams may require a follow-up question before a recommendation is issued.
A physical sample is not required to receive an initial recommendation. A photo or short video of your waste bale is usually sufficient for a first assessment. For heavily contaminated agricultural film, a sample may be requested before finalising the washing system specification.
A single line can process PE film or PP woven bags separately, but not simultaneously. Switching between materials requires a screw change and purging procedure. If you process both streams regularly, a dedicated line for each material is more practical than a shared line.
For clean industrial PE film, a 100 kg/h line processing around 800 kg per day can be viable if local pellet prices are sufficient. For agricultural film with high contamination, the economics typically require at least 1–2 tonnes per day to offset the higher processing cost. The exact threshold depends on your local electricity cost, labour cost and pellet resale price.
Agricultural film with 30–80% contamination, after multi-stage washing and dual-stage extrusion with vacuum degassing, typically produces rLDPE pellets suitable for garbage bags, construction waterproofing film and non-pressure pipes. These pellets are not suitable for food-contact packaging applications.
A closed-loop water system is required when your site does not have a wastewater discharge permit, or when local regulations prohibit direct discharge of wash water. If your site has a valid discharge permit and meets local effluent standards, open discharge may be acceptable. LayerQuestar can configure either option depending on your site conditions.
Yes. LayerQuestar designs recycling lines with expansion in mind. A 100–150 kg/h starter line can typically be upgraded by replacing the extruder and adding washing stages, without replacing the entire system. Expansion feasibility depends on the initial line configuration — discuss this requirement when submitting your details.
Every LayerQuestar recycling line runs a continuous 72-hour full-load test before shipment. The test verifies output consistency at rated capacity, temperature stability across all heating zones, screen changer function under load, pellet quality and dimensions, and all mechanical and electrical systems. Customers or their representatives are welcome to witness the test in person.
Tell us your waste film type and daily volume. LayerQuestar's engineers will recommend the right configuration — at no obligation.
