Overview

LQ-2CH — Machine Overview

The LQ-2CH Series is a 2-color high-speed flexographic printing machine built for continuous roll-to-roll production on plastic film, paper, woven, and non-woven substrates.

Available in three substrate widths — 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm — the series delivers an actual printing speed of 80–100 m/min, making it one of the fastest entry points in the 2-color flexo segment.

The synchronous belt drive system replaces conventional chain drives, reducing noise and eliminating speed variation during startup and shutdown for tighter color-to-color registration. A hydraulic automatic unwind correction system tracks the web without operator intervention, while friction-type winding maintains consistent roll tension throughout the run.

The large integrated drying oven ensures reliable ink cure across all supported substrates, including kraft paper and non-woven fabric where water-based inks require more aggressive drying.

All three models share the same core mechanical architecture — substrate width is the sole differentiator, simplifying model selection and allowing operators familiar with one model to work across the series.

Best For
Plastic bag manufacturers producing T-shirt bags, flat poly bags, and shopping bags at high volume Paper bag converters printing on kraft or coated paper with water-based flexo inks Non-woven and woven PP bag producers requiring stable tension control on porous substrates Factories upgrading from slower or chain-driven flexo equipment seeking speed and registration improvement Operations running multi-substrate product mixes across film, paper, and non-woven in a single machine

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the LQ-2CH. For configuration-specific questions, contact our engineering team directly.

What is the actual printing speed of the LQ-2CH Series?

The actual recommended printing speed is 80–100 m/min. The mechanical rated speed is 120 m/min; running at 80–100 m/min ensures consistent color registration and print quality under production conditions.

What materials can the LQ-2CH Series print on?

The LQ-2CH Series supports PE film, PP film, paper (including kraft and coated), woven PP bags, and non-woven fabric across all three models.

What plate thickness does the LQ-2CH Series accept?

The machine accepts flexographic printing plates from 1.14mm to 3.94mm thick, covering standard photopolymer plates used for both fine-detail and solid-coverage bag printing.

What is the difference between the LQ-2CH-600, LQ-2CH-800, and LQ-2CH-1000?

The three models differ only in maximum substrate width: 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm respectively. Speed, material compatibility, plate range, and all core mechanical features are identical across the series.

Does the LQ-2CH require manual web alignment during operation?

No. The hydraulic automatic unwinding belt correction system continuously tracks and adjusts the web path without operator intervention, reducing labor requirements and substrate waste.

Why does the LQ-2CH use a synchronous belt drive instead of a chain drive?

Synchronous belt drive eliminates the speed fluctuation inherent in chain-driven systems, resulting in lower noise and more accurate color-to-color registration — particularly important for 2-color logo printing where even minor speed variation causes visible misregistration.

How many bag impressions can the LQ-2CH produce per hour?

At 80–100 m/min with a 400mm bag repeat length, the machine produces approximately 12,000–15,000 impressions per hour under continuous operation. Output varies by bag size and substrate type.

Is the LQ-2CH suitable for printing on non-woven bags?

Yes. The friction-type winding system and hydraulic tension control are well-suited to non-woven substrates, which are more porous and stretch-prone than plastic film. The large drying oven also supports the higher ink absorption rate of non-woven materials.

What is the footprint of the LQ-2CH Series?

All three models share a 6.8m machine length and 2.9m height. The LQ-2CH-600 is 1.8m wide; the LQ-2CH-800 and LQ-2CH-1000 are both 2.0m wide.
