Overview

LQ-6CH — Machine Overview

The LQ-6CH Series is a 6-color high-speed flexographic printing machine engineered for continuous, high-volume roll-to-roll production on plastic film, paper, woven, and non-woven substrates.

Available in three substrate widths — 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm — the series operates at 120 m/min, delivering approximately 2.4× the throughput of standard LQ-6C series machines and up to 18,000 printed bag panels per hour on a single-lane 400mm repeat.

The synchronous belt drive system maintains precise speed synchronization across all six color stations without slippage, directly eliminating the registration drift that limits conventional gear-driven presses at high speeds.

A dual thermal management system — combining two sets of blow-and-heat drying units with a central constant-temperature control system — ensures complete ink cure between stations, while a dedicated cold air shaping bellows immediately sets the ink post-print, preventing adhesion, blocking, and smearing on the rewind roll.

Lower rollers are manufactured from special steel with a 10-wire thick hard chromium electroplating for superior wear resistance and ink release. Aluminum alloy guide wheels undergo hard oxidation, dynamic balancing, and static balancing treatment, minimizing vibration-induced print banding at top speed.

The flexible plate thickness range of 1.14–3.94mm accommodates both thin digital photopolymer plates and thick conventional plates, supporting mixed job types across the same machine.

All three models share identical mechanical architecture and features — substrate width and machine weight are the only differentiators.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the LQ-6CH. For configuration-specific questions, contact our engineering team directly.

What is the printing speed of the LQ-6CH Series?

The LQ-6CH Series operates at 120 m/min, approximately 2.4× faster than the standard LQ-6C series (50 m/min), making it suitable for high-volume continuous production environments.

What materials can the LQ-6CH Series print on?

The LQ-6CH Series supports PE film, PP film, kraft paper, coated paper, woven PP bags, and non-woven fabric across all three models.

What is the difference between the LQ-6C and LQ-6CH series?

The LQ-6CH runs at 120 m/min versus 50 m/min on the LQ-6C, adds a synchronous belt drive for high-speed registration accuracy, a dual blow-and-heat drying system, cold air shaping bellows, hard chromium rollers, and a wider plate thickness range (1.14–3.94mm vs. fixed 2.38mm).

What plate thickness does the LQ-6CH Series accept?

The LQ-6CH Series accepts plates from 1.14mm to 3.94mm, covering thin digital photopolymer plates for fine-detail work through thick conventional plates for bold solid-coverage printing.

How does the LQ-6CH prevent ink smearing at high speeds?

The cold air shaping bellows system rapidly cools and sets the ink immediately after printing. Combined with the dual blow-and-heat drying units and central constant-temperature control, this prevents ink adhesion, blocking, and smearing on the rewind roll even at 120 m/min.

What happens to the ink motor when the plate is lifted?

The ink motor automatically stops when the printing plate is dropped (lifted off impression) and restarts automatically when the plate re-engages, preventing ink waste and substrate contamination during impression adjustments.

How do I choose between the LQ-6CH-600, LQ-6CH-800, and LQ-6CH-1000?

All three models share identical speed, drive system, drying technology, and plate range. Select based on maximum substrate width required: 600mm, 800mm, or 1000mm. Machine weight increases from 5,000 kg to 6,000 kg across the range.

What is the machine weight of the LQ-6CH Series?

The LQ-6CH-600 weighs 5,000 kg, the LQ-6CH-800 weighs 5,500 kg, and the LQ-6CH-1000 weighs 6,000 kg. Reinforced flooring or a concrete foundation pad is recommended for the 800 and 1000 models.
