Overview

LQ-6C — Machine Overview

The LQ-6C Series is a 6-color inline flexographic printing machine designed for high-quality roll-to-roll production on plastic film, paper, and foil substrates.

Available in three substrate widths — 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm — the series delivers full 6-color print capability in a single pass, supporting process color (CMYK + 2 spot colors) or six-spot-color brand printing for demanding retail and food packaging applications.

Ink is transferred via a fountain roller and anilox roller system, ensuring consistent ink metering and uniform coverage across the print width. The resulting prints exhibit bright colors, high registration accuracy, and strong color saturation, with inks formulated for temperature, light, and friction resistance — meeting the durability requirements of retail bags, food packaging, and industrial film.

The machine supports an integrated single-pass workflow combining printing, laminating, and die-cutting, reducing intermediate handling and improving overall line efficiency.

All three models share the same printing speed range (5–50 m/min), plate specification (2.38mm), and print length range (200–1100mm) — substrate width is the sole differentiator, simplifying model selection and allowing plate stock to be shared across machines.

Best For
Plastic bag manufacturers requiring full 6-color brand printing on PE, BOPP, PET, or CPP film Paper bag converters producing retail kraft bags, food-grade paper packaging, or luxury carry bags with rich multi-color graphics Operations running mixed substrates (film + paper + foil) on a single machine platform Converters upgrading from 4-color flexo seeking process color capability without moving to rotogravure High-volume retail and FMCG packaging suppliers requiring consistent brand color compliance across long runs Export-oriented bag manufacturers targeting private-label customers in Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the LQ-6C. For configuration-specific questions, contact our engineering team directly.

What materials can the LQ-6C Series print on?

The LQ-6C Series is compatible with BOPP, PET, PE, PVC, CPP, kraft paper, coated paper, aluminum foil, and glassine paper across all three models.

What is the printing speed of the LQ-6C Series?

The operational printing speed is 5 to 50 m/min. The mechanical rated maximum speed is 160 m/min; the 5–50 m/min range reflects practical production speed with registration accuracy and ink drying requirements maintained.

What is the difference between the LQ-6C-6600, LQ-6C-6800, and LQ-6C-61000?

The three models differ only in maximum substrate width: 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm respectively. Speed, plate thickness, print length range, and all core features are identical across the series.

What plate thickness does the LQ-6C Series require?

All three models require a total mounted plate thickness of 2.38mm, including double-sided adhesive mounting tape — a standard commercial flexo specification compatible with most photopolymer plate suppliers.

Can the LQ-6C Series print, laminate, and die-cut in a single pass?

Yes. The LQ-6C Series supports an integrated single-pass workflow combining printing, laminating, and die-cutting, reducing intermediate handling steps and improving line efficiency.

How many colors can the LQ-6C Series print?

The LQ-6C Series prints six colors per pass, supporting CMYK plus two spot colors or full six-spot-color brand printing — suitable for demanding retail packaging and food-grade bag applications.

Where does the LQ-6C Series fit in a bag production line?

The LQ-6C Series is positioned after blown film extrusion or paper roll supply and before the bag making machine. The workflow is: film/paper production → 6-color flexo printing → bag making. It can also operate offline on pre-made rolls from external film suppliers.

What is the maximum web roll diameter the LQ-6C Series accepts?

All three models accept web rolls up to φ450mm in diameter, compatible with standard jumbo rolls from blown film extrusion lines.

How does the LQ-6C differ from the LQ-4C Series?

The LQ-6C adds two additional color stations over the LQ-4C, enabling 6-color process or spot-color printing in a single pass. The machine footprint is taller (2950mm vs. 2400mm height) to accommodate the additional print units. Speed range and plate specification are identical between the two series.
